Crafting compelling omni-channel shopping experiences for Gen Z consumers

Digital tools have become integral to the modern shopping experience, particularly for the Gen Z consumers who seamlessly blend online and offline shopping. Recognizing this trend, the tech company partnered with Smart Design to deepen its understanding of young shoppers' journeys. Our team was tasked with crafting innovative shopping and ad features, and developing a compelling vision for the future of the search engine's omni-shopping ecosystem.

My role as the Design Lead included:

  • Conducting analysis of regional and global omni-shopping trends

  • Designing materials used in remote co-design sessions

  • Designing low-fidelity visuals to test early UX concepts

  • Leading ideation sessions with clients to brainstorm new concepts

  • Designing high-fidelity mobile prototypes of new features

  • Designing presentations to creatively communicate our process and findings

  • Supporting user research moderation and synthesis
